Once upon a time I was a liberal.  I voted for Al Gore in 2000 because I bought into all the tripe from the media that George Bush was just stupid.  I thought liberal ideas where based in compassion, I didn’t have a very good opinion of American Corporations and I believed those in our Government acted with our best interests at heart.

I projected my own beliefs and convictions upon something I really knew nothing about.  9/11 opened my eyes wide, and since then I have not stopped delving down this rabbit hole of realization.

The LALA Blog was created after I moved to California after an invite from my brother.  I wanted to chronicle, discuss and more or less disparage some of the inane things that the people of California are suffering.  Under pressure from one of the most bloated state governments in the nation to the myriad liberal/statist activist groups that operate in the state whos objective is to nanny every American citizen to death with everything from banning hot dogs to taxing the populace for the purpose of stopping one of the biggest hoaxes perpetrated on the people of the planet earth, Global Warming.

The more I researched these local phenomena, the more I realized that it wasn’t only the people of California that were suffering from government bloat and leftists control-crazy agendas.  It was everyone, all over the world.  The blog takes its name from Hollywood’s affectionate alter ego, LALA Land.

There is truth in this world. It exists and there is no lie or deceit that can cover it’s face indefinitely since it is defined by one’s actions, and not one’s words.
